Under the moniker The Building, songwriter Anthony LaMarca invites listeners into his world through music that is as poignant and elemental as the small corner of Ohio he calls home. Exploring everything from the weight of love and loss to the joys of polka and pizza dough, LaMarca crafts songs that resonate immediately and transport you to a place that feels at once revelatory and familiar.

When not working on The Building or producing records at his home-away-from-home, Youngstown’s Peppermint Recording Studio, Anthony keeps busy as a part of several seminal projects including playing percussion for Dean and Britta and guitar in The War On Drugs.
